Fogleman reminds Marion residents to stay safe during pandemic

ralphhardin@gmail.com Local coronavirus numbers continue to climb (Crittenden County recorded its 17th fatality over the weekend). Governor Asa Hutchinson’s mask mandate remains in effect.

Several local school sports teams are on hiatus after a handful of positive COVID-19 tests were reported among players and staff.

With that in mind, the Marion Chamber of Commerce recently issued a message from Mayor Frank Fogleman urging caution and common sense as the pandemic rages on.

“Mayor Fogleman would like to remind everyone to please continue to practice social distancing as another major increase in COVID19 cases is anticipated in the near future,” said the message. “The City of Marion strongly urges everyone to wear a facial covering while in public and to wash and sanitize
