ARTA President, Dr. Ella Walker-Rolfe will present the program. The New Officers' Nominating Committee will present the slate of officers nominated to serve for the next two years. • DHS Division of Aging and Adult Services Seeking Delegates – Seeking Arkansans who are at least 60 years old to volunteer to serve as delegates on the 20th Biennial Silver Haired Legislative Session taking place on Aug. 17-18. Anyone interested in becoming a delegate should contact East Arkansas Area Agency on Aging at 870-930-2202. County candidates need to circulate qualifying petitions and submit them to the Agency by April 15.

• Water Collection Drive – The West Memphis Area Alumnae Chapter (WMAAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. is collaborating with Conscious Minds Entertainment who is sponsoring a water collection drive to help support the Flint Michigan Water Crisis Thursday, March 17 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Good Lyfe, 1014 E. • Marion School District Patriot Pride 5K – The annual “Investing in the Future” Patriot Pride 5K is set for Saturday, April 2 at Marion Junior High School arena parking lot at 9 a.m. The event is a fundraiser for scholarships for MHS Teachers of Tomorrow and Health Occupations Students of America. • Water Use Reporting For 2015 – The Crittenden Conservation District is now registering irrigation wells for usage on farms for 2015. As a registered water user you are protecting your rights to the use of an equitable amount of surface water in times of shortage and to establish ground water rights within critical areas. Act of 154 of 1991 requires users of ground and surface water be assessed an annual fee in the amount of $10 per well and relift site. Act 408 of 1989 provides for the collection of a late registration penalty. Any person who fails to register a well or relift site by the deadline shall be subject to a penalty for each year they fail to register. • DivorceCare – First Baptist Church Marion on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. It is a 13 week session held in room 106 ending May 10.
